Construction of anion-functionalized hypercrosslinked ionic porous polymers for efficient separation of bioactive molecules

چکیده

Porous ionic polymers have demonstrated great potential for high-performance separation by the merits of their unique molecular recognition, but preparation anion-functionalized bioactive molecules with highly similar structures remains a challenge. Here, through facile Friedel-Crafts alkylation between benzylimidazole liquids (ILs) and crosslinkers, several hypercrosslinked porous (HIPs) are reported, which well decorated strongly basic carboxylate anions as feature tubular morphology excellent thermal stability. High adsorption capacity (103.6 mg g?1 tocopherol homologues) selectivity (S??/?, 4.26; S?/?, 3.19) compounds high structural similarity been realized, superior to those commercial adsorbents, polymer without ILs, HIPs common ILs. This study manifests new synthetic strategy rational design functionalized offers opportunities enable separation.

A new type of imidazolium salt-modified porous hypercrosslinked polymer (BET surface area up to 926 m(2) g(-1)) was reported. These porous materials exhibited good CO2 capture capacities (14.5 wt%) and catalytic activities for the conversion of CO2 into various cyclic carbonates under metal-free conditions. The synergistic effect of CO2 capture and conversion was observed.
